#3533 Been running WSJT-X for quite some time and have used it on two radios (Yaesu 991A and Yaesu FTdx101MP) and generally all works fine. I use the '991 Rig' for both radios (as it works and there isn't a specific Radio for the FTdx101MP - and the FTdx101D doesn't work for for the MP). Recently reloaded (full clean reload with disk erase) my Mac OS X with Catalina 10.15.3 (which was working fine previously) as part of a debug effort for another problem. Afterwards I was unable to get the CAT portion of WSJT-X to work (I could see decodes OK but no rig control) I was able to reproduce this on two Macs (iMac and MacBook Pro). After some digging the one difference I found from when it all worked to when it failed was the Silicon Labs driver had been updated (5.3.5) . I contacted SiLabs and they provided me a slightly earlier version - v5.2.3 and it works. I've also provided this info to John (G4KLA). Wanted to put this out there for others just in case they encounter issues with the latest SiLabs driver. Am curious if anyone is successfully using v5.3.5 on Catalina (or any OS X version) with the 991 Rig. This may be an isolated and very specific issue to my Rig / OS combo or perhaps more widespread. Of interest - the Driver works OK with MacLoggerDX so clearly it isn't 'broken' but rather some combination of factors cause the problem to surface.
